Together the port locations on the rivers Elbe, Weser, Jade and Ems form one of the most significant German cargo hubs. An advantage for all: Germany can only assert its position as leading export nation of the world if its seaports function well.

As port marketing company the Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH communicates the wide variety of services of the Niedersachsen seaport locations on the world market. This also includes the consulting service for potential customers as well as the pooling and forwarding of enquiries to the affiliated port operation and infrastructure companies. Thus the Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH provides more than a solution and retains a fundamentally neutral position at the same time.

With a handling volume of more than 60 million tones per year the seaports of Niedersachsen are among the largest port groups in Germany. Their geographic location, directly on the estuaries of the biggest waterways in the German Bight, modern, efficient handling and storage facilities, qualified and experienced staff as well as excellent connections to road, rail and waterways guarantee optimal conditions for efficient transportation.
