IPTA and Navigate Events are delighted to announce that the 4th Chemical & Product Tanker conference takes place 6-7 March 2012 in London at the Hilton Tower Bridge Hotel. This event has grown to become the world's most important gathering of chemical and product tanker owners.
We have put together a selection of top level speakers who will examine the most important commercial and operational issues currently facing the sector.
This year’s speakers will include Aage Figenschou who will be taking over as chief executive of Jason Shipping – the renamed holding company for Camilo Eitzen; Essberger Tankers’ highly regarded chief executive Hugo Finlay and Shell Chemical’s marine technical manager Axel Kahl. The two days will once again be chaired by the inimitable Ian Finley – the Cook Islands' IMO representative.
Topics on the agenda will include fleet outlook, chemical, vegoil and biodiesel trades, vetting, ship finance, greenhouse gas emissions, piracy, ballast water systems, bunker fuel quality and the implications of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006.
